This is the history about a Korta family. Korta to be known for the quality of its wines, which are exported to countries in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

1948 was the year that started the Chilean Wines Korta Companies, when Jose Korta started his business Korta Tanning . From that time the company evolved to the point of becoming one of the most important of its area in Chile.

In 1989, the family Korta, led by Francisco Korta, turns the business and create a new company called Frutas de Curicó, focused 100 percent in fruit area.

In 1997, the Companies Korta embark on one of the most ambitious and challenging of his career: just born Winery and Vineyards Korta, with the aim of producing and export Chilean wines, as well as private wine label , organic wines, bulk wines and more.

 

At present, the Vineyard offers different types of products:

  • Varietal wine: Cabernet sauvignon, Carmenere, Merlot, Sauvignon blanc y Chardonnay
  • Bag in Box Wine: In 3 and 5 liters, from 700 boxes, with your own design
  • Bulk or Granel Wine: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Carmenere, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, etc., in 3 different formats.

 

Valles del Sur

The Finished Wine line Valles del Sur have developed with their own unique style. “In our bottled wines you can enjoy the best of Central Valley Chilean wines. In red wines you can find a good and deep color, balance in the mouth with fruit flavor according with his variety. In the top level wines you can enjoy his intense body and find toasted notes of his aging in French and American Barrels. The entry level our wines have a fruit, balance and wines easy to drink daily”, Pablo Corta explains.

 

Varietal Wines

This wines have developed their own unique style. They are easy-drinking varietal wines, refreshing, balanced and great with food.

 

Reserve Wines

In the search to define the character of our wines, the harvest represents the qualities of a good young varietal wine with intense fruit, a gentle medium body, and balance.

 

Great Reserve Wines

This wine is a deep red color and its bouquet reveals the 12 months of patient aging in oak barrels combined with the character of the variety.

 

Limited Selection

Intense, deep red colour with an agreeable mixture of spices and mature berries. Its storage in barrels gives its palette a soft base which elegantly complements its fruit.
