The Bordeaux Wine Council, le Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux, has appointed Mary Gorman-McAdams to the newly created, full-time position of Market Advisor for both the U.S and Canada, effective immediately. Based in New York, Gorman will coordinate all of the CIVB’s North American marketing programs.
Gorman has over 20 years of experience working in international marketing, exporting and business development, and is also a Master of Wine, a distinguished title held by only 312 people worldwide.
The Bordeaux Wine Council (Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux or CIVB), founded in 1948, represents the three families of the Bordeaux wine industry: winegrowers, wine merchants, and brokers. The CIVB advocates for and strengthens the Bordeaux region through data collection and study, technical and environmental analysis, and global communications initiatives.
