According to the data, the growth was due to the strong dynamism of China and Brazil. The Asian country was the market that grew the most in terms of shipments, with increases of 29.3% in volume and 30.1% in value. In this way, China remained the main export destination for the second year in a row, totaling US $ 254 million in sales.
On the contrary, the United Kingdom was the destination that recorded the biggest drop, thus maintaining the downward trend of the last two years. In 2017, exports to the market fell 8% in volume and 9.3% in value compared to the same stretch of 2016. Another market that presented losses was the USA. In 2017, shipments to the northern country fell by 5.2% in volume and 8.1% in value, marking its second consecutive year of decline.
