Good news for wine producers this week sicfras, as sales of Chilean wines in supermarkets grew in the last twelve months, both in volume and value.
Specifically, sales of wines increased by 5.9% in volume and 8.2% in value, between April 2016 and March 2017. The information was delivered by a study by the consultancy Nielsen.
In the case of sparkling wines, sales growth was 6.9 percent in volume and 10.9 percent in value, while beer sales in the period increased by 11.5 percent in volume and 13, 6 percent in value.
Distillates recorded sales growth of 1.9 percent in volume and 2.0 percent in value.
