According to Wines of Chile at the end of the 1st half of 2016 exports totaled 25 million cases in the amount of US $ 692.8 million. These figures represent an increase of 4.57% and 0.62%, respectively, but the average price per case was US $ 27.65, implying a fall of 3.78% compared to the first half of 2015 when an average price of US $ 28.73 was reached.
Best performing countries

During the 1st half, US shipments have not been the best, in general: shipments of 3,008,298 cases were made, representing a fall of 6.98%; the total amount was US $ 86.8 million, falling 7.79%, and the average price recorded a drop of 0.88%, reaching US $ 28.86 per box.
China also grew at a strong pace in terms of volume (2.9 million cases) and value (US $ 85 million), and almost reached the United States. However, in terms of average price the result was also negative, falling 6.18% and reach an average value of $ 28.59 US per box.
