In the first four months of 2017, exports of bottled wine increased by 6.2% in volume and 5.5% in value, compared to the same period in 2016.

In April, however, exports were 3.5% less in volume and 6.2% less in value, while the average price was US $ 26.8 per box compared to the average price of US $ 27.5 Per box so far this year.

In the last 12 months, exports of bottled wine increased by 3.9% in volume and 2.8% in value compared to the previous period, with a drop of 1.1% in the average price.

Shipments to some of our major markets increased in April 2017. The highest increases were: China, with 22.2% in volume and 27.4% in value; Canada, with 50.2% and 25.7%; And Ireland 20.5% and 18.4%.

In this way, so far in 2017, China, the US and Japan are leading exports.

China grew 20.7% in volume and 30.7% in value, and the US decreased 1.2% in volume and grew 0.3% in value. The strong rise of Japan so far this year (27.7% in volume and 19.2%), places it as the third destination.

In 12 months, China continues to grow strong (13.8% in volume and 23.8% in value) and leads with US $ 211 million (6.7 million cases), followed by the US, with US $ 183.4 million (6.4 million boxes). Japan, in third place, surpasses the UK, which is fourth.
