Chilean-wines.com-/ So far this year, exports of this product to the Asian giant have grown 15.77% in volume and 15.57% in value.

We know that China is Chile’s main trading partner in economic matters. And the wine is not without protagonism. In 2015, China became the first destination of Chilean wines, with returns of US $ 163 million only to the wine sector.

So far in 2016, China has maintained its position as the first destination of Chilean wines, with a growth of 15.77% in volume and 15.57% in value. With these figures, Asian power surpasses the United States, which has the second place and the United Kingdom, which is in third position, with returns to September of US $ 137 million.

Exports

Between January and September 2016, Chile exported 4.6 million nine-liter boxes to China, compared with less than four million that were shipped during the first nine months of last year.

On the other hand, analysts explain that the penetration of Chilean wines to China is not only in terms of shipments, but also in the alliances that have been generated between local vineyards and other companies of the Asian power. This has been a good measure, as Chilean wines are facing strong competition with other producing countries.
