In 2015 bulk wine market reached 38.6% of world exports. Taking into account these figures, the current production and existing stocks worldwide, the next edition of the International Meeting for the wine business, on 21 and 22 November in Amsterdam will be of strategic importance for the entire sector.

The 8th edition of the World Bulk Wine Exhibition will bring together over 220 exhibitors from around the world. It is expected that more than 50 wineries and cooperatives from different countries participating in the meeting to do business selling wine are present.

The World Bulk Wine Exhibition is the largest gathering in the world in terms of turnover. After seven years positioning itself as a reference for industry professionals, faces his eighth year with the challenge to continue offering the best room for those who come with a priority: doing business.

 

Bulk wine

During 2015, exports of bulk wine reached 39.49 million hectoliters, representing 38.6% of global sales, compared with 54.3% of bottled wine and sparkling 7.1%. These percentages contrast with those that occurred in 2000 were 20.40 million hectoliters of bulk, 34%; 36.45 million hectoliters of packaging, 60.8% to 3.14 million hectoliters of sparkling, 5.2%. Global sales have risen from 59.99 million hectoliters in 2000 to the current 102.43 million hectoliters, an increase of 71%.
